Start sailing through the three gorges, Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty and forest-covered mountains. Enjoy a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of the Goddess Stream. (Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the Daning River or Shennong Stream, which have their own attractive gorges.) In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks. Arrive Shanghai this morning and disembark. Visit the intriguing Jade Buddha Temple and the fantastic Shanghai Museum. Transfer to the Central Hotel for 2 nights. Afternoon visit to the Yuyuan Garden. These gardens occupy some five acres within which they contain the quintessential elements of a Chinese garden - pavilions, rockeries, pools, moon gates, latticed windows and small cloisters. This morning drive to the picturesque canal town of Zhujiajiao. Take a lunch of local specialities before exploring its waterways and lively streets where colourful shops, tea houses and eateries abound. Return to Shanghai and the rest of the afternoon at leisure. (BL)

Large fleet and expert crew

Each Victoria cruise ship features a Dynasty Dining Room where buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served whilst the captain’s farewell dinner will be a grander sit down banquet. All vessels also boast an A La Carte Restaurant and both Western and Chinese cuisine is served on board. Superior cabin guests can book the A La Carte Restaurant at a supplement of USD 45 per meal, and enjoy exquisite dining in an intimate setting.
Facilities on board
The signature style of all Victoria’s ships is one of luxury and elegance with Asian accents.
